Solution
Preheating
Proper preheating helps your oven reach and maintain the right temperature, so it doesn’t run too hot or too cold during cooking. Allow the oven to fully preheat before placing food inside—this can take up to 20 minutes.
Make sure the oven is empty during preheat and free of pots, pans, or other items. (This doesn’t apply when using the pizza stone and shield in Stone‑Baked Pizza mode.) Keep the oven door closed throughout preheating. When the set temperature is reached, the oven will beep, so ensure the sound function is turned on.
Bakeware
The cookware being used may effect your baking results. For more information refer to the Bakeware Guide in your use and care manual.
Rack Placement
Rack placement can also influence your results, especially when baking. Many recipes specify a rack position, and following that guidance will help you achieve the best outcome. Your Use & Care Manual includes additional details on rack positions, along with a bakeware guide that explains how different cookware materials and shapes can affect baking performance—even when temperature and preheat are correct.
Temperature Calibration
If you’ve checked these steps and still aren’t getting consistent results, your oven may need a temperature calibration. Instructions vary by model, so refer to your Use & Care Manual for the correct procedure.
