Refrigerators - How to align doors
Issue
- Refrigerators doors are not level

Solution
For Side by Side Refrigerators
- Before leveling either door, remove the set screw that locks the door height into position. (The door cannot be adjusted without the set screw removed).
- If the refrigerator door is lower than the freezer door, raise the refrigerator door by turning the adjustment screw counterclockwise using a 7/16"wrench. (See illustration.)
- If the freezer door is lower than the refrigerator door, raise the freezer door by turning the adjustment screw counterclockwise using a 7/16" wrench. (See illustration.)
- After leveling, verify the door stop contacts the lower hinge and the top of the door does not contact the upper hinge through full movement of the door (from fully closed to fully open).
- Reinstall the set screw, locking the door height.

- Installation and Removal” in the INSTALLATION section of your Use and Care Guide).
French Door Refrigerators
- Open freezer drawer to access hinges for fresh food doors.
- Insert 6mm AllenTMwrench into the shaft of the lower hinge. (Included with unit)
- To lower door: turn adjustment screw counter-clockwise if looking at the door from below.
- To raise door: turn adjustment screw clockwise if looking at the door from below.
