What should I do if I received an email stating my Frigidaire Smart App is being replaced with the Frigidaire 2.0 app?

Solution

Simply follow the instructions in the email and click the links that apply to you. You should receive emails notifying you of the steps required for this action. Check your spam filter and add Frigidaire Appliances to your safe sender list if you aren’t seeing them. You can also follow the steps below.

A few tips to help you:

  • If you have an account with Frigidaire.com AND know your password, you only need to download the new Frigidaire 2.0 app. You will log-on using your Frigidaire.com credentials and the appliance should appear in the app.
  • If you do not have an account with Frigidaire.com, you will need to create a new account in the Frigidaire 2.0 app.
  • If you don’t remember your password, you will need to reset your password using the link in the email or in the Frigidaire 2.0 app.
  • If you currently use a schedule or voice skill (Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant), after the app update, you will need to reset up the schedule and voice.
