Grill and Griddles - How do I remove the grill plates for cleaning?

Solution
Be sure the plates are cool before attempting to remove them. Open the 5-in-1 Grill and Griddle to the flat position and press the release buttons located on the side of the unit. Lift each plate up and out from under the metal tabs.
